Best sesame balls in DFW.
Lady behind the register was as sweet as can be. Stopped by here after a very disappointing custard bun from the Pearl. We went in and got the yellow buns. Great, fresh bun with creamy sweet custard; a night and day difference
one of the ever decreasing neighborhood bakeries selling unique products rather than just bread. love the bean-paste sesame balls! absolutely will visit everytime I'm in the area.
We went into the store with low expectations but left very happy with the pandan roll cake for around 6.99. The owners also offered a knife as we started ravaging with our hands, so that was very nice of them. My friend also got black rice and coconut($3) which she plans to use in her mango mango replica. I hope this place does well :)
I've just found a place as cheap as it could be. These snacks treats remind me of my childhood.
I come here for one thing, the Coconut sesame balls. I highly recommend it. They ALWAYS hit the spot. Most times, they are warm. Maybe I've been lucky. The ladies might be busy but they get to you quickly. And they're very nice. Stop by and get some balls, only $1. There are 3 different flavors to choose from. You won't be disappointed.

back when 85 bakery wasn’t a thing this was my parents 85 bakery back in the day. years went on and to be honest i completely forgot about the little corner in the front of the store. came back today to go pick up my banh bo nuong (it’s so hard to find a good place that makes these nowadays) first i was very impressed with their service. my Vietnamese is not that great but the ladies were determined to help me figure out what i was trying purchase. overall very sweet owner, the ladies are amazing! SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS TOO!!
Fantastic Sesame Coconut Balls and Bánh Bông Lan. All of them were super fresh and delicious. The Bánh Bông Lan is super fluffy. Prices are reasonable here and I can't wait to return on my next trip in the area.
